The introduction of new content resources has seemed to slow for many of us who are always curious for new information.
This year, SLA New York has benefited from a double bonus in that Greenwich Associates www.Greenwich.com has become a major partner of our chapter, providing us with substantive funds for programming and, additionally, is repackaging its content, making it available to customers to whom historically they could not market.
Greenwich Associates conducts and provides original seminal research on institutional investing and other major financial services topics through interviewing and polling thousands of major players within the financial services silos. Historically, this research was available only to those who participated and even then, most of the information was not available to the information centers as it was deemed confidential.
Now, much of this research is being repackaged providing statistical and trend information valuable to those in financial services, those working in law firms and those working in consulting firms.
Our first partnership event took place on April 27th at the Midtown Executive Club at a breakfast.
Diana Blaney, Senior Research Analyst with Greenwich Associates was our speaker and provided a global overview of the Financial Markets.
Greenwich Associates is looking to our members to provide them with insight as to what kind and types of information would be of value to their practices and is looking to partner with members who want to help shape this next generation of Greenwich Associates services and products. Special trials are awaiting members who would like to provide input on these new offerings.
