SLA-NY is always in search of talent! In particular, we seek skilled individuals who would like to actively participate in the creating the organization of the future. Some ideas:

Writers – to write articles for the newsletter blog

Technicians – to assist the Web committee with updating the SLA-NY website

Event planners – to plan and manage SLA events

Domain / Industry experts – to present information to our members on Special Librarianship

Fundraisers – to assist the Director of Finance and Fundraising in creating partnerships with vendors

Committee Members – to serve on the Board of Advisors, Advisory Council, Strategic Plan implementation or various committee positions

Mentors – to help fellow members with careers and transitions
